The Psychology of Money

Money is not your Self Worth

Psssst… I have a secret for you… If you’re stressed about money, either personally or as a couple, it’s not really about the money.

The secret to money troubles is that they are about the way you think, feel, and cope (or not cope) with money. And we can fix that together.

As both a therapist and former financial planner, I am uniquely positioned to help you with your financial issues.

90-minute Workshop

You are so much more than your salary or bank balance.

Join Roger Schwarz, JD LMFT, for a deep and healing workshop on the relationship between psychology and money and how you can mend that relationship. After 90-minutes, you’ll have a better understanding of the breadth of finance-related issues and how they affect our relationships with our partners, family, friends, colleagues, and most importantly, our Selves.

This won’t just be an abstract lecture – Roger will work hands-on with a real-life client, who is struggling with their own relationship with money- just like you. At the end of the session, we will open the floor for questions so you can walk away with tactics, answers, and a sense of hope.

Emotional Struggles = Money Struggles

Your relationship with money is an outward expression of your internal struggles. By looking at your financial world, he can help you heal your relationship with your Self.

You’re not really fighting about money

Couples who struggle with money may have deeper-rooted issues that need to be healed in tandem in order to heal your relationship to your Self, your partner, and your finances.

Money is our greatest taboo

You can tell me the things you can’t tell anyone else. I’ll help you heal and thrive in interpersonal business and personal relationships around money, sex, politics or religion- and all the ways they overlap.

Roger has a uniquely powerful background

Roger’s legal and finance background make him an unparalleled effective and practical financial therapist.

Why $5?

I’ve found that when people pay for something (even if it’s a nominal fee), they are more committed to the process. Think of it as a kind of “part one” to the workshop, like having “skin in the game.”

Roger Gets You

Does this sound like you? Roger has heard it all and is here to help.
